Trailer: Nas, A$AP Rocky, Jennifer Hudson in Netflix's ‘Monster’

Netflix has done it again with content that inspires us to have thought provoking conversations around the justice system, and also collectively view content made for us. This morning, Netflix premiered its adaptation of Walter Dean Myers novel MONSTER! The film tells a story of Steve Harmon, a seventeen-year old honor student whose whole world comes crashing down when he is charged with a felony. The lovely Jennifer Hudson and his father Jeffrey Wright encourage their young son with faith and love.

The film also stars Nas, A$AP Rocky and John David Washington. Executive produced by John Legend, Nas and Jeffrey Wright. Streaming on Netflix May 8th.
